"Mother Teresa" Airport informs all citizens that they must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This announcement is valid until September 10, due to the high flow of travelers in this summer season. According to TIA this measure aims to improve the overall travel experience for all passengers. 

 

"Tirana International Airport would like to inform you of a vital update regarding the check-in and security process at Tirana International Airport (TIA) from today until September 10. To
ensure smooth travel and accommodate increased volumes of passengers during this period, we kindly request that all passengers arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to their scheduled departure time. This proactive measure will help us maintain efficient operations and provide you with a stress-free experience.
You please consider the possible additional time required for baggage check, security checks and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. We understand that this may require you to adjust your travel plans slightly, but we assure you that this measure is intended to improve the overall travel experience for everyone. As always, your safety and comfort remain our top priorities.
