Five people have been criminally prosecuted after they went in an organized manner, from the city of Berat, to the beach area in Durrës to use their 4-7 year old children to beg.

The procedure has started in a free state for the citizens of AB, Sh. K., AB, RB and VD, after the verifications showed that they had come in an organized manner, from the city of Berat, to use their children aged 4-7 to beg.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further action, for the criminal offense "Mistreatment of a minor".
