At least 58 projects will be implemented in restoration or conservation interventions in historic buildings across the country.

Through a revitalization bonus implemented by the National Fund for the Care of Material Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Culture, the buildings are financed through two schemes, each with its own specifics. What stands out is the high presence of projects in Berat, which is the city with the highest number of beneficiaries, but the list does not lack buildings in cities such as Gjirokastra, Korça, Elbasani, Kruja, Vlora, Shkodra and even Ballshi, Qeparoi.

In general, the buildings are owned by individuals and are categorized as monuments or are part of the historical centers of the cities.

Restorative or conservation interventions foresee either total or partial measures in the roof or retaining walls. The Ministry of Culture made public the list of the projects in question just a few days ago, giving specifically the scheme from which each of the 58 selected applicants benefits.

For 2023 the 2023 reviving bonus went through two calls.
