The arrest of the arsonists/ Rama, appeal to the judges: Do not continue the old

Prime Minister Edi Rama has congratulated the State Police, which has arrested all the people who started intentional fires, endangering the homes and lives of people living in the areas where the fire was set.

After the arrest of the perpetrators who started the fire in the forest in Laç, Rama called on the judges in the districts not to continue the old practice of impunity for the same crime, which in the Criminal Code is punishable by 15 years in prison.

"A big bravo to the State Police, which this summer has been close to the arsonists, managing to catch them and put them behind bars, as in the case of the criminals who set fire to the forest in Laç, for whom I repeat, as for all the other arrested persons, the appeal to the judges in the districts, not to continue with their old avaza of not punishing a barbaric crime like this, which in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Albania is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
