Greece has rejected the help offered by Albania's fire service to help put out the fires that have engulfed a large part of the neighboring country.
The European Civil Protection System has told Albania that it no longer needs ground aid, as it has been completed by other EU countries.
Firefighters from Korça, Maliqi, Gjirokastra and Tirana have turned back again.
It is not known if in reality Greece no longer needed ground troops to deal with the situation or if this is the result of the deterioration of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
