Other details have been revealed regarding SPAK's mega operation for Tirana's incinerator.

According to the journalist Klodiana Lala, some security measures have been given, such as prison arrest, mandatory appearance and house arrest.

The operation started this morning around 07:00 and is still going on, where checks were carried out in the homes of some of the suspects.

According to the journalist, the police have received 6 arrest warrants, but none of them have been executed so far, since the persons were not found in the apartments.

Klodiana Lala says that according to the data in the TIMS system, only one of them is in the territory of Albania and the others have gone abroad.

The suspects, among whom there are officials, businessmen and journalists, are accused of various criminal offences, including money laundering.

SPAK has not yet provided any official information regarding the mega operation.

We recall that CNA had warned a few weeks ago that SPAK has given some security measures regarding some people who were involved in the affair of the Tirana incenerator.

Mayor Erion Veliaj was questioned in SPAK regarding this affair and he and his family members are under financial investigation.

One of its directors, Taulant Tushe, is behind bars for this affair./ CNA
