Anti-drug operation in Tirana. The head of the Tirana Police, Tonin Vocaj, said that 24 arrest warrants were issued and 1.2 kg of cocaine were seized. 

Vocaj explained that during the second phase of the "Temple 3" operation, 19 citizens were executed, and the work to capture 5 other citizens continues. 

The investigation showed that these arrested and wanted persons were distributing narcotics, near schools, and in other places frequented by young people, in different areas of Tirana.

Full statement: 

I am here today, together with the Deputy Director for the Investigation of Serious Crimes, the Deputy Director for Public Order and Security, and the Chief of the Narcotics Investigation Sector, to present the second operational phase of the mega-operation coded "Temple 3", where in function of 2 criminal proceedings of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, followed for a three-month investigation period, during which special investigation methods were applied, the criminal activity of some citizens who distributed narcotics was documented with legal evidence cannabis, heroin and cocaine, in different areas of Tirana, near schools, as well as in nightclubs.

The Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, in implementation of the measures defined in the school security package and the priority of the State Police, in order to guarantee an environment as safe as possible for students and to prevent negative phenomena in the future, has developed checks and operations to hit the elements and criminal groups that try to develop the criminal activity in which young people participate.

The Narcotics Investigation Sector of the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, following the consecutive operations developed for the prevention, identification and suppression of criminal activity in the field of narcotics, and following the two nationwide mega-operations "Tempulli 1" and "Tempulli 2" , referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, which registered 2 criminal proceedings in 2024.

After a quarterly investigation carried out with special methods of investigation by the specialists for Narcotics Investigation of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, legal evidence was provided to document the criminal activity of 24 citizens.

Mbi bazën e provave të siguruara gjatë hetimit, u organizua dhe u finalizua faza e dytë e operacionit “Tempulli 3”, në kuadër të të cilit u ekzekutua masa e sigurisë “Arrest në burg”, të dhënë nga Gjykata e Shkallës së Parë e Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë për 19 shtetas, si dhe vijon puna për kapjen e 5 shtetasve të tjerë të cilët ndiqen me masa kërkimi.

Gjatë operacionit u arrestuan 19 shtetas ndaj të cilëve Gjykata e Shkallës së Parë e Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë ka caktuar masën e sigurimit personal “Arrest në burg”, për veprën penale “Prodhimi dhe shitja e narkotikëve”, konkretisht:

K. H., 26 vjeç, D. K., 39 vjeç, O. V., 21 vjeç, H. F., 20 vjeç, F. Gj., 32 vjeç, V. Xh., 42 vjeç, A. Xh., 52 vjeç, O. I., 62 vjeç, L. K., 26 vjeç, M. K., 32 vjeç, K. H., 24 vjeç, R. M., 25 vjeç, M. S., 18 vjeç, R. Sh., 33 vjeç, D. G., 21 vjeç, R. D. (S.), 52 vjeçe, E. B., 37 vjeçe, A. Sh., 33 vjeç, B. K., 34 vjeçe (arrestuar më parë gjatë zhvillimit të hetimeve).

Midis personave për të cilët Gjykata e Shkallës së Parë e Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë ka vendosur masë sigurie, është dhe shtetasi A. Xh., alias A. T., alias J. C., 52 vjeç, banues në Tiranë, i cili është arrestuar në muajin maj të këtij viti, për veprën penale "Vrasja me dashje", kryer në bashkëpunim, për një ngjarje të ndodhur në shtetin grek.

Giithashtu po punohet për lokalizimin dhe arrestimin e 5 shtetasve të tjerë.

Gjatë operacionit u sekuestruan në cilësinë e provës materiale:

1.2 kilogramë lëndë e dyshuar narkotike kokainë;
Qindra doza të lëndëve të dyshuara narkotike heroinë dhe kanabis;
12 celularë;
5 automjete;
Shuma të konsiderueshme parash në lekë dhe valuta të tjera, të dyshuara të përfituara nga shitja e lëndëve narkotike.

Nga hetimet ka rezultuar se këta shtetas shpërndanin lëndë narkotike, afër shkollave, dhe në ambiente të tjera të frekuentuara nga të rinjtë, në zona të ndryshme të Tiranës.

Specialistët për Hetimin e Narkotikëve të DVP Tiranë, në bashkëpunim me Prokurorinë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, vijojnë veprimet hetimore për dokumentinin e plotë të kësaj veprimtarie kriminale dhe për identifikimin e vënien para përgjegjësisë ligjore të shtetasve të tjerë të përfshirë.

Në kuadër të bashkëpunimit të shkëlqyer mes Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë dhe Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Tiranë, gjej rastin të falenderojmë prokurorët z. Drini Pali dhe z. Adriano Dyrmishi, si dhe drejtuesin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, z. Arens Cela, për drejtimin, koordinimin dhe mbështetjen për finalizimin me sukses të dy procedimeve të fazës së dytë të megaoperacionit “Tempulli 3”.

At the same time, the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police thanks the citizens, for the numerous information given about this criminal activity, which were important for the initiation of the investigation.
