The arrogance of caste ignorance, whose time has run out

For every political caste, there comes a moment when it loses touch with reality. Not when it loses power, but when it loses the ability to understand that power does not belong to it.

That's when the most dangerous form of arrogance arises: the arrogance of ignorance.

This is the arrogance of people who no longer understand the society they claim to represent. Of people who continue to speak in the language of the past, while citizens live the problems of the present, and the vision of the future.

Of those who confuse propaganda with truth and power with legitimacy.

When a political caste approaches the end of its cycle (remember 1990), it does not become more humble. On the contrary. It becomes more aggressive, more nervous, and more arrogant.

Because he feels that time is slipping away from him. He has no more arguments, so he uses labels. He has no more vision, so he produces fear. He has no more trust in citizens, so he demands blind obedience.

And the weaker it gets, the stronger it tries to appear. The less people listen to it, the more it screams, invents scenarios, threatens, bullies. The more its moral authority is eroded, the more it demands submission.

But this is not strength. It is classic evidence of an outdated system.

Political castes always believe they are irreplaceable. They think that without them everything will collapse. But...
History continues its course and leaves them behind.

An aging caste is not a problem, because political aging, like physical aging, is natural. The problem is when it refuses to accept that its time is up.

Then ignorance turns into arrogance, and arrogance into an obstacle to society and the tombstone of political castes.
