High temperatures continue/ Weather forecast for today

Today, the country will be engulfed by a heat wave, with temperatures rising significantly in most regions of the country.

According to meteorological forecasts, the thermometer could reach up to 39°C in several cities, including Elbasan, Berat, Shkodra and the capital.

In the western lowland cities and coastal areas, including the south, temperatures will range from 33 to 37°C, creating hot and stable conditions throughout the day.

Meanwhile, mountainous areas will remain somewhat cooler, with values ??fluctuating around 29–32°C.

The weather will be dominated by full sun and long intervals of clear skies, with only some light cloudiness in the afternoon hours in mountainous areas, without rainfall.

According to forecasts, high temperatures will continue into the beginning of next week, remaining at extreme levels for the season, while nights will also become warmer, especially in low-lying and coastal areas. /CNA
