"McGonigal is not a dead issue"/ Lala: Veliaj's confrontation

Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to "A Krasta Show" on Syri TV, spoke about some of the most pressing issues of justice.

Focusing on the competition for the new head of SPAK, Lala said that the process is being closely followed by internationals.

Lala further stated that the new head of SPAK must be decisive in decisions and equidistant from the parties.

 

" Internationals are following this process very closely. The American and British embassies have a kind of increased interest in relation to the selection of the Special Prosecution Office. The head of SPAK must be blunt, cold and equidistant from the parties ," said Lala.

 

The journalist also spoke about the investigation into the McGonigal case, which she said is not a dead issue.

Lala said that the McGonigal issue will be a burden for Prime Minister Rama.

" The McGonigal issue will not be a dead issue. It will be a burden on the prime minister ," the journalist declared.

 

Journalist Lala also spoke about the confrontation between former mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and justice.

Lala said that this confrontation will be a very long road.
