The "copy-paste" tactics of Erion Veliaj's lobbying studios

Today, the law firms lobbying for the dismissed mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who is in prison on 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, have come out with a 24-page report.

This report compiled by the Kasowitz and Mishcon de Reya studios states that Erion Veliaj is being politically persecuted.

The report states:

“This report updates the final report of Kasowitz LLP and Mishcon de Reya LLP regarding SPAK’s unjust detention of a democratically elected mayor of the capital of Albania: Erion Veliaj, which was published on June 24, 2025, and is attached hereto as Appendix A (“Initial Report”). Familiarity with the basic facts, principles, and legal framework of the initial report is assumed.”

These lobbying studios are paid to question the justice system set up by a reform paid for by US, EU and UK taxpayers.

They are also used as instruments for attacks on justice by the media close to the Veliaj family, which we have also seen wiretaps where they talk about 2 million euro stagings.
