The Director of the Office for Europe and Asia of the US Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Mark Tervakoski, is in Tirana where he met with the head of the Special Court, Erjon Banin.

As seen in the post of the American embassy in Tirana, Tervakoski has also met with the head of the Special Prosecution Office, Klodian Braho, and the head of the National Bureau of Investigation, Joni Keta.

He has also held meetings with representatives of law enforcement, justice, civil society and international missions in Albania.

The embassy's post emphasizes that the United States of America is focused on providing capabilities, tools, and cooperation in Albania to thwart criminals who harm countries, threaten borders, and violate national security.
