The Russian court fines Google with 31 thousand dollars / Cause of the special

A Moscow magistrate's court has fined US tech giant Google 3 million rubles ($31,800) for its failure to delete suspicious information related to the special military operation in Ukraine, as well as information banned in Russia, reports a TASS correspondent from the court.

According to the case files, the company was sent an official notice requiring it to delete videos from the YouTube portal that instructed viewers on ways to illegally enter protected facilities, the presence of which could endanger the life and health of a person, such as and videos containing false information about the special military operation in Ukraine, reports Russian media TASS.

Earlier, the same court had repeatedly imposed fines on Google for administrative violations, including a fine of 3 million rubles in May for hosting videos on YouTube that consisted of propaganda promoting non-traditional sexual relations, as well as the illegal practice of " roofing" (climbing tall structures to access their rooftop facilities - TASS), and defaming Russia's armed forces./ CNA
