Gazment Bardhi has reacted after the arrest of former Deputy Minister of Health Klodian Rrjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj for the sterilization concession.
In his response, Bardhi calls on SPAK to investigate the persons responsible for corruption in Health.
According to him, corruption is not only in the sterilization concession, but extends to the "check up" concession.
" Corruption, abuse of office and misuse of public funds, for pre-selected clients of the Government of Edi Rama, is a widespread phenomenon in every segment of government. It has already taken on the features of a general governance model that has severely damaged the public interest.
Corruption with public health contracts is not isolated only to the sterilization concession. It extends from the 'check up' concession, to secret contracts for supplies in the pandemic period.
Saluting SPAK and GJKKO for the first step taken today to punish corruption in Health, we must all together encourage SPAK to courageously and responsibly investigate the real persons responsible for these abuses. Edi Rama, Ilir Beqaj and Ogerta Manastirliu should be investigated and punished for millions of euros of abuse and theft at the expense of the health and lives of citizens.
