Journalist Klodiana Lala: Here's when the Deputy Prime Minister will appear

Journalist Klodiana Lala reported today that Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku must appear before SPAK on October 27.

Invited to a television studio, Lala discovered that the subpoena arrived at Balluk's office on Tuesday.

The journalist explained that Balluku was taken simply as a person under investigation and not as a defendant by the Special Prosecution Office.

"A summons was sent to Ms. Balluku and the Ministry of Interior on Tuesday and has arrived at Ms. Balluku's office. These summonses are sent by special couriers who also receive the signature.
In this summons, the special prosecutors inform her that she must appear at SPAK on Monday, October 27, at the Prosecution Office premises in the presence of a lawyer, implying and making it clear that Ms. Balluku is officially under investigation for the criminal offense of violating equality in tenders and all likelihood is that if she does appear, the chances are that she will not, but Ms. Balluku will be familiarized with the official criminal charges. must clarify to avoid confusion, she does not have the status of a defendant, but is a person under investigation and Ms. Balluku is the second deputy prime minister to confront SPAK after Ahmetaj, who is on the run for several serious charges, including corruption," said Lala. ./CNA
