Balluku inspects the aesthetic maintenance of road axes: Greenery, one of the

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, inspected today the works for the new ARA project for the Aesthetic Maintenance of road axes.

During her speech, Balluku stated that since Albania is becoming a tourist destination for many foreign tourists, the time has come for roads to be not only safe but also aesthetic.

The minister said that she had chosen the Rinas roundabout to start the inspection, as according to her it is the entry point for all of Albania because it is only a few meters away from the Rinas airport.

"Today we are completely inspecting a new project that the ARRSH has launched. Considering that we have long had performance maintenance contracts that we call and are divided according to regions to maintain all those road axes that expire after the warranty period. But we have noticed that now, since the kilometers of national axes are increasing, the time has come to have an important element for citizens and visitors. It is no longer a condition to have only safe roads but also aesthetic roads. For this reason, in 2023, the ARRSH has added aesthetic road maintenance to the area of ??responsibility.

Today we are at the Rinas roundabout, where a good job is being done for greenery. I came here to do this inspection because here we are at an entry point not of Tirana but of Albania. This is a very important point of presentation and aesthetics plays a special role. And greenery is one of the most important elements" , said Balluku among others. /CNA
