Belinda Balluku in Switzerland, meeting with counterpart: We are cooperating on

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku is in Switzerland where she will hold a bilateral meeting with the Federal Minister for Transport, Energy and Environment.

Balluku stated that plans are being made for close cooperation with Swiss Railways in the future regarding the development of rail transport, starting with the first project, the one from Tirana to Durrës.

"It would be great to travel by train from Switzerland to Albania, and we will do so in the future through European railway corridors where Albania will become a part, as is being done with highways, but today we are on a trip with the team of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and that of the Albanian Railways to have a bilateral meeting with the Federal Minister for Transport, Energy and Environment, here in Switzerland.

"We are making a trip from Zurich to Bern, thus proving the efficiency, the efficiency that the railway has and making plans for a close cooperation with the Swiss railway in the future regarding the development of railway transport, starting with the first project, the one from Tirana to Durrës," said Balluku./ CNA
