Greek customs officers on strike on Monday/ Kakavija Border Police: Vehicle movement suspended for 4 hours

The Kakavija Border Police has announced that on Monday from 06:00 to 10:00, no vehicles will be allowed to move. According to the announcement, the suspension of vehicle movement will be due to a strike by Greek customs officers.

Meanwhile, it is announced that only pedestrians without luggage and vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.

The Kakavija Border Police, through the Kakavija Joint Information Exchange Center, has been notified by the Greek Border Police that on 27.10.2025, from 06:00 to 10:00 (Albanian time), the movement of vehicles will not be allowed at the Kakavija BCP, due to the customs officers' strike.

Only pedestrians without luggage and vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.

The Kakavija Border Police asks for citizens' understanding and suggests planning vehicle trips at other times of the day. /CNA
