Appointments and dismissals in the government/ Korreshi: Rama will test the

Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi commented today on the latest moves in the government. In an interview, Korreshi said that Belinda Balluku requested Spiropal's dismissal, adding that "incompetence" also played a role.

Among other things, he stated that this is a step by Prime Minister Edi Rama to test the situation with internationals, both European and American.

"Balluku has requested Spiropali's removal from the position of minister. I also believe that her incapacity has also had an impact. Another part of the offer was the appointment of the director of OSHEE as minister, it is a 'dice' of Balluku. He was her delegate in Fier. The other was the director of the cabinet, he also appointed him minister. She is now the minister of two ministries without wanting to sign. She also has the minister of Finance and others.

"This is a preliminary step by Rama, because he will test the situation. The awakening of the international factor, both European and American, I think it is. The opposition's debates in Parliament are not enough, but the recent protests, although with skepticism, have brought extraordinary echoes in foreign media about the pressure to dismiss Balluk," said the MP.

During his speech, he warned of a possible escalation of opposition action due to the issue of MP Belinda Balluku's immunity.

"I do not exclude the fact that we may have a lockdown or hunger strike for the lifting of Balluk's immunity inside the Parliament hall. This has been discussed for a long time and is a red line. The Immunities Council aims to see whether we are dealing with a political trial or not for the lifting of the MP's immunity. Even Balluk's lawyer himself has said that it is not a political trial ," said Korreshi. /CNA
