Abuse of tenders and corruption in Agriculture / SPAK files a complaint against

SPAK has filed a claim for 29 defendants from the Agricultural University, who were tried in a summary procedure.

The GJKKO has set the date of March 18 for the next session where the defense will be held and then the decision will be announced.

The defendants are officials and former officials of the Agricultural University, while 2 are representatives of the economic operator "Krijon" sh.pk

They are accused of violating equality in tenders and forging documents, committed in collaboration.

Investigations have revealed violations in nine procurement procedures conducted in 2022 with a total fund of around 90 million lek.

SPAK has filed a claim for:

Edmond Terthorja - 3 years in prison, 1/3 reduction in sentence, loss of the right to exercise public functions for 5 years.

Amarildo Lleshi - 3 years in prison, 1/3 reduction in sentence, loss of the right to exercise public functions for 5 years.

Serafin Skenderi - 3 years in prison, 1/3 reduction in sentence, loss of the right to exercise public functions for 5 years.

Altin Murto - 3 years in prison, 1/3 reduction in sentence, disqualification from holding public office for 5 years.

Klara Jahollari - 1 year in prison, sentence suspended. Conversion to 150 hours of probation and to maintain contact with the probation service.

Agim Sefa - 1.6 years in prison, the execution of the decision should be suspended and converted to probation for a period of 2 years.

Mehmet Qoshja - 1.6 years in prison, the execution of the decision should be suspended and converted to probation for a period of 2 years.

Enkeleida Sallaku - 1 year in prison, 1/3 of the sentence to be reduced and suspended, converted to probation for a period of 150 hours and maintain contact with the probation service.

Romina Koto - 1 year in prison, 1/3 of the sentence to be reduced and the execution of the decision to be suspended, to be converted to probation for a period of 150 hours and to maintain contact with the probation service.

Artur Koleci - 1.6 years in prison, to be reduced by 1/3 of the sentence and converted into 2 years of probation.

Blenard Spaho - 1.6 years in prison, sentence to be reduced to 1/3 and converted to probation for a period of 2 years.

Tedi Proda - 1.6 years in prison, to be reduced by 1/3 of the sentence and converted into 2 years of probation.

Elvira Shtogu - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3 and converted to 150 hours of probation.

Tone Vukaj - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3, suspension of execution of the decision and conversion to 150 hours of probation.

Eridiana Cuni - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3, suspension of execution of the decision and 150 hours of probation.

Erjola Kopali - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3, suspension of execution of the decision and 150 hours of probation.

Etleva Shore - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3 and suspension of execution of the decision and 150 hours of probation.

Ilir Kapaj - 1.6 years in prison, 1/3 of the sentence is reduced and he is placed on probation for 24 months.

Radio Dhromi - 1.6 years in prison, 1/3 of the sentence is reduced and placed on probation for 24 months.

Klea Lekoçaj - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3, suspension of execution of the decision and 150 hours of probation.

Mimoza Sefa - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3, suspension of execution of the decision and 150 hours of probation.

Mimoza Shehu - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3, suspension of execution of the decision and 150 hours of probation.

Rezearta Dervishi - 1 year in prison, reduction of sentence to 1/3, suspension of execution of the decision and 150 hours of probation.

Piro Zoga, Ilir Kusi, Bejo Bizhga, Dritan Laçi and Arjan Buliaj are being tried in a regular procedure separate from the rest./ CNA
