Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi spoke this afternoon regarding the changes made in the government the day before.

Këlliçi stated in an interview for Syri TV that Prime Minister Edi Rama's new appointments are, according to him, "trustees" of Belinda Balluku, while the dismissals are "fulfilling her demands."

Regarding the appointment of Albana Koçiu as Deputy Prime Minister, the MP described her as one of the most failed ministers. He also added that this is the downfall and degradation of the Socialist Party.

"But the point is this, Edi Rama is today being held hostage by Belinda Balluku. Edi Rama, in addition to appointing Balluku's confidants to the vacant positions, has certainly fulfilled her whims to dismiss her rivals and to fulfill her political whims. So, the dismissal of Elisa Spiropali is now public and the reason is known. The reason is not her performance, for the sake of truth. I can even tell you another thing, that two weeks ago she was in the US and may be the only official of the Socialist Party who has had meetings in the US and for this reason she was apparently removed. Because you have also seen Edi Rama who is not even greeted by the guard at the gate of the US State Department, he could not have been the only representative on the peace board who did not have a meeting with any official of the US State Department, as Vjosa Osmani or various leaders of even very small countries had, but Edi Rama certainly cannot approach the State Department.
