Official sources from today's government meeting told CNA that Prime Minister Edi Rama has issued an ultimatum to the ministers.

He asked to stop SPAK, to curb their actions, as according to the claims of the prime minister, they are in violation of the law.

Prime Minister Rama stated at the government meeting that the day before he had gathered the general secretaries and directors of the agencies under the prime minister's office, giving them an order not to open the door to SPAK and BKH, but to act after have been notified.

If SPAK and BKH do not notify them according to the law two or three days in advance about the controls that will be carried out or the receipt of the necessary documentation for the investigation, they should not allow prosecutors or BKH officials to carry out controls.

Rama was direct in the government meeting, where he emphasized that after warning the directors and general secretaries, it is the ministers who should know and should stop SPAK and BKH in the actions they will perform.

We emphasize that in recent weeks, SPAK and BKH have carried out dozens of investigations in state offices and institutions, collecting thousands and thousands of pages and documents to prove the accusations against high-ranking officials who were involved in the investigation by SPAK, of which there are several former cabinet ministers, their general secretaries, but also other officials who are in office or have left.

They are accused of corruption, tenders and corrupt affairs. Also, on the other hand, parallel to the investigations for the procedures, tenders or suspected affairs, property investigations have been started against these officials.

Apparently, the quick and strong actions of SPAK have caused the prime minister to raise the alarm and seek solutions to stop the offensive of SPAK and BKH against government institutions./ CNA
