The Democratic Party denounced the cleaning company "Korsel" sh.pk this afternoon

PD raised claims that the "Korsel" firm received 4 tenders from the Korçë Municipality, while the Public Procurement Authority has excluded it from participating in public procurements until June 27, 2023.

In fact, "Korsel" has been denounced before. CNA was the one who denounced it first, we have extracted facts and documents regarding the tender that was being held for the cleaning of Tirana.

CNA has reported how this cleaning company has deceived the municipality of Tirana for cleaning the capital. Afterwards, there was a decision of APP that excluded this company from participating in public procurements for 18 months.

After the DP's denunciation, CNA learned from official sources in the Municipality of Korça that "Korsel" has presented a court decision that removes the suspension to participate in tenders.

Then, the Municipality of Korça addressed APP with a request for confirmation if the cleaning company can participate in the tender and the latter replied that "Korsel" was removed from the list of excluded.

In this case, the DP's denunciation does not stand.

First, there is a court order. APP has suspended the scandalous firm "Korsel" for 18 months, but it has appealed the decision to the court. The court has made a decision in favor of the firm and APP has removed it from the list of suspended, thus allowing it to continue the procedure. A court decision is understood to be based on the decision given by the APP.

Second, the opposition experts should know that APP blocks the accounts of entities that are excluded from tenders. Thus, the firm cannot enter the competition and become part of the race even if it wants something like that.
