The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, today visited the police officer who was injured the day before while trying to quell a fight between two people.
The condition of the policeman is now stabilized and his life is out of danger.
How the event happened:
The police officer was seriously injured on Tuesday evening as he intervened to quell a fight between two people in the Piluri area.
The incident happened around 11:00 p.m.
At the moment when the conflict was taking place, the police officer R. Ç., 28 years old, with the duty of inspector of the Lukovë area Police, was crossing the street outside of duty hours and when he saw the people who were conflicting, he immediately intervened to prevent escalation of the conflict.
