CNA denounced/QSUT premises are being cleaned

A disturbing phenomenon that you encounter as soon as you set foot on the premises of the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center has been denounced for several days by CNA.

Shown with photos and videos day after day, CNA clearly showed the irresponsible behavior of citizens, who have become the biggest polluters of public spaces in the hospital.

The published footage showed cigarettes being thrown from the hospital windows, plastic bottles and trash scattered in front of and around the emergency room, environments that should be an example of cleanliness and safety.

Following these complaints, there was an intervention by the institution, cleaning the surrounding environment, removing cigarette butts and garbage scattered in every corner.

But the main problem is not cleaning and removing waste from the hospital's toilets. The point is that citizens do not return the environment to its previous state, where it more resembled a "landfill".

Citizens should also be aware that their stay in groups in the hospital near hospitalized patients or family members becomes a source of infection.

The noise and chaos created inside the hospital can often endanger the lives of patients in serious health conditions. Another disturbing and scandalous phenomenon is smoking in hospital premises, including by nurses and doctors.

While in Albania there is a law that prohibits those who smoke in bars, there should also be legal enforcement for this. /CNA
