Filling out the A1 form for the 2026 State Matura begins

The process of completing the A1 form, through which students determine elective subjects for the 2026 State Matura exams, has begun today.

The Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, through an informative message, addressed the high school graduates, emphasizing the importance of this decision, while underlining that the choice of subjects directly affects academic orientation and further studies.

"Think carefully about this important decision, consult with your teachers and parents, because the choice you make today will guide you towards the next phase of your studies. For those who are not this year's high school graduates, but from previous years, there is the A1Z form, also known to all those who follow the process. But it is good to remember that for this second one, there are only two dates available. We have posted and made known to all applicants according to the regional education directorates: On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Tirana, Durrës and Fier. On the 5th, 6th and 9th in Korça and Lezha, everyone will be available to assist you, to help you, from teachers, school principals, heads of educational offices and regional directorates", said Kumbaro.

For graduates of previous years, the application with the A1Z form will take place on February 10-11, while Regional Educational Directorates, educational offices and schools are available to provide assistance throughout the application process. /CNA
