Possibility of resignation/ Lawyer: In case of early elections, Rama may play

Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has today shared a warning about a development related to recent political events in the country.

As Spahiu stated in a post on social media, if Prime Minister Edi Rama resigns, elections should be called within 45 days, i.e. on July 20.

However, according to Spahiu, the issue is not that simple. This is because, based on the law, new parties need 3 months to register, leaving only the two major parties in the race.

"If Edi Rama resigns today, according to the Constitution, Article 65/3, elections must be called within 45 days, i.e. on July 20."

According to the law, existing parties are registered in the elections.

A new party takes at least 3 months to register.

Don't be surprised if Rama plays the bluff, finding all sides unprepared.

At the ballot boxes you will again have only two options: PD and SP.

Friendly reminder to those who know neither law nor politics.

If this wave of protests does not turn into a giant mega-party against the DP and the SP, but fades away like the "chemical weapons" issue or remains only for the "pelican", then it will take you another 20 years, but this moment will not come to you.
