"Something diabolically contrived"/ Rama: This is an attempt by the

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with the residents of Zvërnec, stated that the developments and protests of recent days are something special.

Rama said that this has taken on global proportions, while stating that behind all this are enemies of Albania, one of whom, according to him, is Iran.

He said that Iran has used this moment to strike at a society that is working towards membership in the European Union.

"I knew very well that those who really claim the property are not in that noise. This is something very devilishly contrived. We have a system of protection from attacks by other factors against us. Only the first day when this thing broke out, there were five times more social media users connecting to Albania than in recent years. It was a real scandal to have a fence like that with those wires on top. With that fence and the wire mesh, an image was made with Artificial Intelligence that said "Israeli Border". Narratives were thrown that the Palestinians will come here.

This has taken on global proportions and it is very easy to understand why Iran has an interest in this narrative and why this narrative begins by destroying one of the strongest points of Albanians' reputation in the world: the way Albanian Muslims, together with Christians, saved the Jews.

This is an attempt to dig a hole in us. This is an attack that is being made by the enemies of Albania. Iran has taken advantage of this moment. There are a number of reports that show that large countries that are against the EU and that are interested in hitting the societies of countries that want to join the EU, have a strategy of using environmental issues, because they create chaos. Third, we have entered a territory where competition is ruthless" , Rama said. /CNA.
