Altin Dumani was asked this evening about his pledge as head of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Dumani said in a television interview that the biggest obstacle is the limitation of his individual and family freedom.

He said that they sacrificed not only his family members, but also his fellow prosecutors and their families.

"I want to humbly thank SPAK prosecutors, investigators, financial investigators and all those who work for dedication and sacrifice in fulfilling this task. Acknowledgments

I want to thank my family. It is not easy to be a prosecutor, let alone a leader in the Special Prosecutor's Office. It is difficult in the Albanian environment to fulfill with professionalism. 

I have definitely limited myself and sacrificed, but on the other hand, my family is also sacrificing. It is limited in its life, its freedom. And the prosecutors' families are limited in their freedom.

When I go from home to work in the morning, because I come back late at night and I don't see anything, from the window of the vehicle I see people moving freely, I wonder if that time will come when I, my family, my colleagues and families its move freely?

My answer is that despite the responsibilities, it is a job that we have chosen to do and we will do it with dedication. I want to thank the family for being patient and supporting me despite the costs they have taken on," said Dumani./ CNA
