The country's Deputy Prime Minister, and at the same time the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, has introduced the new director of the Albanian Post, Etjen Xhafaj.

Balluku stated that Xhafaj, who has held several positions in the administration and has served a term as an MP, is a proven professional in postal-related fields.

She also expressed her appreciation for the former director of the Post Office. The Minister said that with Xhafaj at the head of the Albanian Post Office, the postal services process and the financial services process will be optimized.

"The new General Director of the Post will be, starting today with yesterday's board decision, which was announced and spoiled this surprise for us today, Etjen Xhafaj. Etjen Xhafaj is an early collaborator of mine. We have worked together in several positions, as Etjen has a long career at the Ministry of Economy, Finance, then Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Energy, until 2021, when he dedicated himself to politics, as a deputy of the Tirana district. Today, the management of the post goes into the hands of a proven professional, who has a long experience in several fields closely related to the Albanian Post.
