Former MP Nard Ndoka stated in a television appearance that the current Electoral Code is unconstitutional. The former MP said that the Democratic Party should create a broad opposition front and not bring parties together just to get 50,000 votes.

Ndoka stated that the allies' votes were stolen through the Electoral Code and Berisha should apologize for the 2008 constitutional changes.

"This Electoral Code is unconstitutional because the vote of Albanian citizens does not have the same weight as in Shkodra, Tirana, and Vlora. This is also a very big problem. Then when you open a public political debate for everyone to speak and see why you need the Senate. Will the Democratic Party defend the standard of elections or will they defend their own bargains?

Ndoka also said that Edi Rama is a master of getting votes from the opposition for the Electoral Code and will mock the opposition.
