Altin Dumani and Olsian Çela, official visit to Kosovo/ Discussions

Kosovo Chief Prosecutor Besim Kelmendi hosted Chief Prosecutor Olsian Çela in a meeting today. SPAK head Altin Dumani was also part of this important meeting.

Part of the delegation was also the head of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana, Arens Çela, the head of the Section against Organized Crime and Terrorism, Adnan Xholi, the head of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, Elion Mustafaj, the advisor at the General Prosecutor's Office, Rozeta Tase, as well as the Media Coordinator at SPAK, Ada Heqimi.

During this meeting, Kelmendi informed the delegation from Tirana about the functioning of the prosecutorial system, the functioning of the State Prosecutor, the organizational structure, the competencies of the prosecutor's offices, as well as the challenges faced by the prosecutorial system in realizing the mission of the rule of law.

Among other things, the meeting discussed increasing the level of cooperation, coordination and efficiency in the fight against crime in both countries.

It was also emphasized that strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two prosecution offices in the field of criminal justice is essential for facing common challenges and addressing issues of mutual interest./ CNA
