Mirel Mërtiri, Klodian Zoto and Stela Gugallja have been sentenced to prison by the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime for the affair in the Elbasan incinerator.

Specifically, Mërtiri and Zoto were sentenced to 10 years in prison, but due to the shortened trial, they will serve 6 years and 8 months in prison.

Meanwhile, Stela Gugallja was sentenced to 7 years, but from the shortened trial she will serve 4 years and 8 months of imprisonment.

We remind you that Klodian Zoto was also sentenced for the affair in the Fier incinerator with 11 years in prison, but with a shortened trial he will serve 8 years in prison.

These people, who are also the heads of the mega-affair of the 3 incinerators of Elbasan, Fier and Tirana, are connected to Vjollca Hoxha, connections that CNA has shown with documents.

Since 2019, CNA has reported how Vjollca Hoxha became a partner with Mirel Mërtir and Klodian Zoto through the company "EM Capital Group", which was established in Bulgaria.

"EM Capital Group" made a partnership with "Valtelina" shpk, with Vjollca Hoxha, with Lori Hoxha, with Sara Hoxha, with her children, with the co-shareholders of "Top Channel".

The people of the incinerators came to Tirana and bought 51 percent of the shares of the "Lori Cafe", "Valtelina Café" brand, and after three years they returned the shares to the Hoxha family.
