Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has considered as shameful the proposal of the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, to change the law on social assistance according to which there will be a restriction that the granting of the baby bonus is given only to residents in Albania.
Berisha says that the parents of those who are deprived of the baby bonus bring millions of Albanian Lek.
"I will say two words about this law. Albanophobe. Shame, shame. Those who expect that bonus from you, they bring billions to Albania. It is a sign to them. Wherever you are born, Albania touches you with something. You are not changing your life. Shame, but how can you bring such a law? So limited, so non-Albanian. You are doubling for those who are in Albania and leave what is for those who are not in Albania. It costs 20 million euros, what happens when their parents bring hundreds of millions of euros. It is a shame to introduce such a law."/ CNA
