Cardiac surgeon Edvin Prifti is ranked second in the list of the 1000 best Albanian scientists.

In the first place is Prof. Roberta Gaziano. After the publication of the list of 100 scientists from the best Albanian H Index Ranking, Dr. Prifti reacted, saying that he feels privileged.

The cardiologist wrote on social networks that this ranking motivates him more to definitely carry out the scientific projects he has started.

"I feel really privileged that in the list of "best 1000 scientists Albania", which just arrived, I came second. This motivates me more to definitely carry out those scientific projects already started. Congratulations to the other colleagues on this list published by H Index Ranking by country. I use this ranking to demonstrate that the ranking of individuals in science is similar to the ranking of universities in the world, the key to success is only meritocracy, while the "attributes" of platitudes remain in the shades of excuses, primitivism and ignorance! highlighted by Edvin Prifti./ CNA
