Prime Minister Edi Rama started this morning by publishing pictures from the construction site in lot 3 of the Qukës-Qafë Plloë axis.

This segment will shorten the Korçë-Tirana distance.

"GOOD MORNING and from the daily work on lot 3 of the Quka - Qafë Plloçë axis, a panoramic segment that shortens the Korçë - Tirana distance, passing through the beauties of Mokra, I wish you a good day", writes Rama.

The Qukës-Qafë Plloë axis is a project that has lasted a decade. An investment that started in 2013, but neglected and blocked due to lack of funding.

A few months ago, after securing financing from international partners and the Albanian government in the summer season, high-speed works have begun on the three sections of the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë national road.

Today, the pace of works, especially in the 3rd lot, in the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë axis, is at a very high pace.

An investment, which seems to be already moving at the right pace and very soon Korça and Tirana will have an even shorter connection after the completion of the Tirana-Elbasan tunnel and the beginning of the investment of the Elbasan-Qafë Thane road.

The Qukës-Qafë Plloë axis brings the city of Korçë no more than 120 kilometers from the capital. So, with the new rates of vehicle movement and the completion of the road, the Korçë-Tirana distance is claimed to be completed in no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes./ CNA
