This Tuesday, GJKKO rejected the request of the former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, in the case of Gërdec.
Mediu had asked to call foreign military and political personalities as witnesses in Gërdec's trial.
But this request was not accepted. GJKKO accepted the witnesses proposed by the Special Prosecutor's Office.
There are 71 names on the Prosecution's witness list, among them are former minister Aldo Bumçi and the son of former prime minister Sali Berisha, Shkëlzen Berisha.
The first 15 SPAK witnesses will be heard at the next session, which will be held on October 23./ CNA
