Incinerators, a theft of Lefter Koka or the Socialist Party and Edi Rama?!

Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed today in the parliamentary commission of inquiry on incinerators, his views on what is called the affair of the century, with amounts ranging from 100 to 600 million euros.

The fact is that we officially have 3 concession contracts, with investments worth 178 million euros, but with revenues of not less than 600 million euros for concession companies. Or with 120 million euros profit only at the incinerator in Tirana.

But let?s further analyze the facts and details. The former minister was arrested a few weeks ago, and is in jail for large sums of money found in a company related to the incineratorElbasanit. Meanwhile, Stela Gugallja, Mirel Mërtiri?s cohabitant, and Klodian Zoto have been declared wanted.

The media have been reporting for years on this scandal. It all started in 2015, but continues today. There are many questions and many unknowns. But could Lefter Koka be the sole culprit or the entire Socialist Party government?

How can a single minister force an entire state, government, municipality and any other structure, to sign, approve and pay 22 million euros for the Elbasan incinerator, which doesn?t work, but which is in fact an oil boiler with dizzying cost?

The same question applies to incinerators in Fier and Tirana. The Prime Minister made his appearance in the commission, as did his ministers. Everyone is trying to politicize this issue. It is a shame because it is trying to sell the Albanians a corrupt affair as an alternative to a missing opposition.

So, it is required to use an affair, a concession, or more than one, to make Lulzim Basha, or his supporters a real opposition in Albania. The latter is funded without any discussion by the embassies and supported by them.

The amount of 600 million euros constitutes almost 25 percent of Albania?s annual budget. This amount is many times higher than the cost of construction of Nation Road. They are much more than many major investments in Albania.

And meanwhile Edi Rama intends to acquit them. He seeks to cleanse them, to save himself, others and the Socialist Party government. But in the final there is only one answer. There can be no single minister responsible for all these abuses.

They could not be Lefter Koka?s pockets. There can be 2-3 or 15 names who have gone to report to a farce Commission of Inquiry, to a political Commission of Inquiry, which is trying to close everything on the incinerators’ affair. It is a political will, it is an act of the Rama government, and not of an individual.

And today, the ?official opposition? of Lulzim Basha is also serving this issue. A farce opposition created just like farce incinerators. Therefore, the incinerators project is not of a former minister who is in handcuffs, or of some individuals who wanted to act according to their own mind.

This is a project of the current government, of Edi Rama. A project of those who have emerged as products from the offices of the Socialist Party, from the offices of yesterday?s institutions of the ruling socialists, of today?s partnership with the pseudo-democrats of Lulzim Basha, with the latter as a partner in government affairs, and who is serving the

latter, not to reborn, but to be appointed as ?official opposition? in Albania./CNA.al
