OFFICIAL/ Surprise move, Ronaldo gets a new coach

Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as the new coach of Al Nassr and has signed a two-year contract with the Saudi club.

The news was confirmed by the club itself through an official announcement on social media. The Australian technician replaces Jorge Jesus, who left after leading the team to win the championship title.

Postecoglou was left without a team after leaving Tottenham and then had a brief stint at Nottingham Forest.

His name was also mentioned as a candidate for the Scotland national team bench. At Al Nassr, the 60-year-old coach will work with famous footballers such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Kingsley Coman and Joao Felix.

The club aims to remain competitive in Saudi football and Asian competitions over the next two seasons. Postecoglou thus begins a new phase in his career in the Middle East.
