In the framework of Pink October, the month of awareness of the risk of breast cancer, the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu and the Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku held a meeting with women and girls of Bulqiza.

During this meeting, sensitizing messages for the prevention of breast cancer were conveyed, not only from Koçiu and Balluku, but also from the women themselves who have experienced cases of breast cancer.

In her speech, Koçiu said that the Ministry of Health during these years has successfully led the fight against breast cancer.

"For this, national programs for early diagnosis have been drawn up precisely to raise awareness as much as possible and to be ready to prevent a disease that has been worrying in recent years because the numbers are increasing", she said.

While Balluku, during her speech, appealed to women and girls to carry out examinations to catch and prevent this disease in time.

"A woman has several responsibilities, especially this breast cancer appears at ages older than 40, at those ages when we have several different responsibilities.
