What is good health...

Good health boils down to two main things: "eating well and emptying well". These are the words that the famous writer Gabriel M. Marquez put in the mouth of the main character, Dr. Urbino Dasa in one of his famous novels. In fact, this is fourfold true!

In everyday life we ??use several words, but I am choosing the word "empty", to express defecation, emptying, elimination, cleansing of the colon. I have to talk about it, even though I know it's not a popular topic.

Your bowel movements (peristalsis) are a great indicator of how healthy or unhealthy your gut microflora is.

It's kind of weird when I talk to people about their bowel habits because everyone has a different definition of constipation.

- You should have a regular elimination of faeces from your bowels two or three times a day.

- If you are defecating one or less times a day, then you may be 'constipated'.

This means that your gut health is in trouble.

In addition, you should know:

- Your stool should be sausage or banana shaped and come out relatively light.

- If your stool is coming out as pebbles or stones, this is not normal - it is an indication of constipation.

- If your stool is watery, swollen or diarrhea, this is not normal either.

This may mean that you are not digesting your food, and what you consume is simply passing through your intestines.

- Digestion is your body's way of eliminating toxins from the body. That's why one of the first things I help my patients do is to have 2-3 strong (and satisfying) bowel movements a day.

- Once we have achieved this, we can then move on to higher levels of detoxification.

The consequences of the above disorders are:

- constant lack of power, energy.

- nervousness

- disordered sleep, insomnia

- weight gain.

- increased appetite

- lack of motivation, etc

If you suffer from such a disorder do not compromise with temporary solutions.
