Fat that kills more than sugar

Fat that kills more than sugar

Today, the damage of refined sugar to the human body is not assumed, but proven.

Sugar increases insulin resistance, severely damages the liver, pancreas, blood vessels, heart, brain, skin, accelerating disease, aging and death!

But there is an even worse, more harmful food in our daily life that we ignore!

This food consists of trans fats, otherwise known as partially hydrogenated or hydrogenated fats, thanks to which more than 33% of deaths in America today are attributed to these fats.

The most traumatic information about these fats is that if you get twice as much "trans" fat in your diet, your chances of heart disease, diabetes and cancer increase by 200%!

Fact: Denmark, which has banned these fats for over 20 years, has reduced deaths from heart attacks, strokes and cancer by 50%!

But what are these fats, are they natural or industrial? In fact, they are both types.

The natural "trans" fats found in cattle fat and cottage cheese are transformed into "trans" thanks to certain microorganisms found in the intestines of ruminant animals, which are not harmful.

Whereas in industrial "trans" fats, chemical transformations occur through a process called hydrogenation, where hydrogen units are added to unsaturated fatty acids to keep them stable and solid at room temperature.

At first sight it seems a harmless modification, but in reality the new fat structure benefited from hydrogenation allows these types of fats to have a much longer life.

The modification is very small, but the problems caused by this change are serious:

- Heart attacks

- Paralysis

- Tumors

- Overweight

- Diabetes

- Destruction of kidneys and liver

- Problems with joints and bones

- Inflammation

- Chronic fatigue

- Chronic infections.

The European Union has forced its producers since 2018 to indicate the presence of "trans" fats on food labels, and this is part of the calming measures of European consumers, but also Albanians.

- There is a direct connection between heart diseases and users of "trans" fats, as in all cases a strong increase in LDL cholesterol and a significant decrease in HDL cholesterol is observed, badly damaging blood vessels, the heart and the brain, as sclerotic plaques are placed in veins and arteries, which are the beginning of all the dramatic events that take place.

These plaques begin to close the blood vessels causing ischemia, infatti.

- The second harm is that these fats increase insulin resistance by developing diabetes and fatty liver.

- The third harm of "trans" fats is because they increase inflammation affecting the development of rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, lupus erythematosus, Hashimoto's, food intolerances, etc., etc.

- All guidelines report a direct link to breast, prostate, ovarian tumors and "trans" fat consumption in people over 40 years old. This should shake us hard!

In fact, the way out is quite simple and safe: avoid foods that contain these fats.

The most representative of "trans" fats is margarine.

- Margarine and all products cooked with it; croissants, pies, pizzas, cakes (in fact all store-bought sweets), including crackers, pastries, chocolates, chips, meatballs, hams, etc.

The shocking fact is that "trans" fats have been found in soup or other dishes in expensive restaurants (in the USA and Europe, according to publications, there are no data for Albania).

A significant part of restaurants cook with hydrogenated fats, because they are more economical, with a better flavor, stable and most importantly, they have a long shelf life, they do not expire quickly!

Unfortunately, I have also seen in the diets designed by famous nutritionists and dietetic restaurants dishes that contain trans fats!

Take care of yourself, we have an industry against!
