Elections for the President of the Democratic Party / Berisha "shows the place" to Salijanj: Representatives of crime have no place in the party

Democratic Party Leader Sali Berisha responded today to some of Ervin Salijanj's reactions regarding the referendum process for the Democratic Party's leader that is taking place today through the membership.

Speaking to journalists, Berisha said that these are nothing more than the scheming of a representative of the criminal world.

According to Berisha, such attempts are made to tarnish the process, by individuals who consider crime as power.

"I believe that the antics of a representative of the criminal world cannot taint this process, nor democracy in Albania. These representatives will never have a place in this party. This is a division for life and death. No one and no one can think of considering crime as power anymore," said Berisha. /CNA
