Democratic MP Ivi Kaso shared details from the referendum process taking place this Saturday in the Democratic Party for the party's chairman. 

As Kaso told the media, participation in this process is massive and the first data is already being collected.

Kaso underlined that there will be a preliminary announcement of the result by KOKOE at the moment of the closing of the voting process, scheduled for 18:00.

"The process has started across the country without any problems. There is massive participation so far, we are collecting the first data, which will be made public by KOKOE to the public as soon as they are processed. It is to be welcomed that the Democrats are near the voting centers in their branches and with their vote they will elect the leader of the DP. There will be a preliminary announcement of the result by KOKOE at the moment of the closing of the voting process, which is scheduled for 18:00. The preliminary results will be sent to the headquarters electronically, which, after the summary table is drawn up, will be made public. The final result will be considered such when the boxes with the ballots are physically presented to the DP headquarters with the minutes", - said Kaso./CNA
