Journalist Esiona Konomi, through a status on social networks, has revealed negligence by the Municipality of Tirana regarding the installation of electronic voting devices by the CEC. In her status, the journalist writes that on April 17, the CEC sent a letter to the municipality to ask for permission, but without receiving a response.

On the 25th, the CEC, in the absence of a response, placed the device on hold, while today the municipality said that no letter was sent according to the form.

For this reason, the Municipality of Tirana has submitted to the CEC the fees for the use of public spaces.

On April 17, the CEC requests written permission from the Municipality of Tirana to install electronic voting equipment at 3 points in the city to be tested by residents of unit 10.

On the 25th, in the absence of a response from the municipality, the CEC places the machines on the planned routes and continues the work.

Today, after the harvest, the Municipality of Tirana, 12 days late, tells the CEC: It has not brought me the request according to our form, and shows the fees for the use of public spaces.
