SP's decision on SPAK's request: Berisha: Citizens never agree

DP leader Sali Berisha has reacted after the SP's decision to reject SPAK's request for Balluk's immunity.

Berisha stated that citizens will never agree with Rama's decision, which states that theft by government officials cannot be punished.

He called on citizens to join the March 12 protest as it is time for the sovereign to have his say.

"On the 12th, all of Albania stood before parliament in the most powerful uprising the country has ever known.

I am convinced that Albanians, regardless of their political beliefs, will never agree with Rama's decision, which tells them that theft by government officials cannot be punished.

"In the event that the execution with the crime cards decides not to accept the decisions of justice, it is up to the sovereign and not the justice to have its say," said Berisha./ CNA
