"I am not Balluk's lawyer"/ Rama: The opposition wants to see him in prison, innocence is presumed

Prime Minister Edi Rama has told prosecutors that when they approach Parliament for deprivation of liberty, they should go "armed" with evidence.
Rama said that justice should let Balluk investigate to the end, but not insult their intelligence by saying that it risks destroying evidence.
"There is no immunity from investigation, wiretapping, or criminal proceedings for anyone, for us, there is no immunity in Albania or other EU countries, that you cannot even mention the name of a member of parliament, not without going to Parliament and saying, can I investigate this?"
We only have the right to restrict or not restrict freedom. So, a person is restricted to a free state or sent to prison by our vote.
When they come to request deprivation of liberty, they must come 'armed' with evidence, as they did in the other two cases.
Bring the minutes of a ridiculous recording to the Assembly to request arrest without trial.
"Let them investigate Belinda Balluku to the end, but let them not insult our intelligence by saying that she risks destroying evidence. She did not risk evidence even when she was deputy prime minister, let alone today, when she is simply an MP," said Rama./ CNA
