Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a video on social networks, has reacted to the process at the Hague Court where former KLA fighters, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Vesseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, are being tried. Rama indicated that he was heading to The Hague to meet former president Thaçi.

In his reaction, Rama hoped that next year, with the end of what he called ridiculous witnesses and with serious defense testimony, the investigative process would be concluded.

A process that Rama described as an absurd theater of European justice. The Prime Minister said that the only crime the former KLA fighters have committed is rebelling against a regime and taking up arms to defend their freedom.

This, Rama said, is a truth that no one can shake, much less the hammer of European justice, for which Rama said he is leaving a grain of salt.

Rama further said that in this judicial process there is only one right, which is the right of the heroes of Kosovo, blessed with their blood and the pain of women and girls raped and mutilated in one of the darkest periods of Europe.

" Still unpunished, a president elected by the people, along with 3 comrades who have covered the most important tasks, are kept locked up, isolated. Now that the exposition of the pseudo-evidence of the prosecution and the parade of funny witnesses have ended, as well as the extremely serious testimonies of the defense witnesses, the decision is expected. I hope that next year will be the year of closing the curtain on this absurd theater of justice and the exit from the brutal isolation of Thaçi and his comrades. I hope that the countries that sponsor this court will reflect on the level far below the red lines of democratic justice of all this that has been happening for years with people whose only fault is rebellion against the satrap regime and who took up arms to defend their freedom and their undeniable right to live as equal people and not as a social group raped because of their ethnicity in a dictatorship. No one can shake this truth, let alone a "The hammer of an international justice that in this war has left its mark. I really want to believe that in the end, justice will win. There is only one justice here, which is the justice eternally blessed with the blood of heroes, with the unspeakable pain of mothers, women and girls raped and murdered during one of the darkest periods for Europe itself, in the heart of Europe ," said Rama.
