Lawyer Brizida Gjokondi spoke in a television appearance about the situation of the Democratic Party of Albania after the May 11 elections.

Gjikondi said he does not believe that there are people with integrity and morality who are close to Berisha.

Further, the lawyer stated that she does not expect any innovations from the DP as long as Sali Berisha is at its head.

Gjikondi also spoke about MP Tabaku, about whom he said that ambition is greater than morality and that she does not need a tutor like Berisha.

 

" Tabaku had given the same speech, had said the same thing that the problem is with the majority, not us. This is when ambition is greater than morality. Mrs. Tabaku is ruining her entire image and personality by not needing a tutor, much less a tutor like Berisha. I don't believe there are people with more integrity and morality close to Berisha.

I think that as long as Berisha is around, we will have people with innovations. I don't believe that we will have any more surprises in the DP, with that flour I don't expect a new bread to be made. In that party, we will not have any innovations, unfortunately, because all the democrats would like the opposition to become their voice. There is more of a political agenda than dealing with the interests of the citizens.

In the local elections, I think that Tirana is the main one, it is the metropolis of Albania, I think it is between Mr. Gonxhe and Mrs. Balluku, due to the merits of the last parliamentary elections, as they have shown how projects are made. They have the moral right to have that position. I think that there will be no competition from the opposition. The Democratic Party, there is no candidate with a "backbone". Berisha has no ambition to win Tirana, he is surprised by how much he got ", said Gjikondi./ CNA
