Prime Minister Edi Rama answered citizens' questions on social networks regarding the first job fair to be held on March 2, pensions in European countries, and property problems.
To the commentator's skepticism that Albanians are not returning, Rama responded that there are many Albanians who are returning and that European pensions cannot be implemented without an agreement, as was done with Italy.
"There are many Albanians who return. You have seen that the account comes out better, especially when they invest their savings from there here for a farm, agrotourism," said Rama.
Regarding the benefit of European pensions, Rama said that for those living in Greece, it will be achieved after an agreement between the two countries.
" European pensions are not as easy as they say in the comments. Everyone says they want a European pension in Albania, but they have taken out insurance in Greece, and it is not possible without concluding pension agreements with Greece, as we concluded with Italy. But when we came to office, there was no agreement at all, and Albania did not have the face to sit at the table as an equal ."
Regarding the facilitation of obtaining documents, Rama stated that every document is obtained via mobile phone, excluding construction documents which, according to him, are like fish out of a swamp, again accusing former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
"In this country, it is easier to obtain documents because you can get them with your mobile phone, while for constructions made on other people's property, we have fish from the swamp that has made the country a mess, and this is being put in place. Within the time of negotiations with the EU, we will close this thing. Albania 2030 will no longer have this problem ."
Rama continued the session with commentators by discussing the water supply in the capital, for which he stated that when he came to power, no area had 24-hour water, while now investments continue in Tirana and throughout Albania.
" Tirana has 24-hour water in 67% of its territory, while investments continue throughout Albania. There was no 24-hour water even under communism. When we took office, there was no 24-hour water in any area."
In tourism and construction, it is better to work here than there. We will also present a job portal where the Albanians of Europe have their hearts, said Rama at the end of the conversation./ CNA
